Vampire Halloween Look

Smoky vampire halloween eyeshadow look

So I'm really excited to share with you my second look for Halloween.
For this one I decided to go for something super easy to recreate and also super cheap too! Using only eyeshadow and little mascara of course.
I didn't do a video because in all honesty this was really random I didn't actually plan to put a look together, but I had a little play around and actually quite liked the outcome!

So this look is of course Vampire inspired, I picked up this H&M jumper a few weeks ago for Halloween obviously, not to dress up in just to lounge round the house in obvs. I loved the cutout style which is drew me to it but I think its a really easy piece to style for Halloween, easy and one of those last minute outfits that can look great!
So styling that my inspiration obviously had to be to recreate a sort of bloody thirsty vampire.

H&M Jumper halloween style I used literally only 2 different types of eye shadow and mascara, THATS IT!
So without having a video to show you step by step this look didn't really need it, because it is so easy.
The eyes I made super smokey by just blending the eyeshadow out and building the colour up slowly. If you don't have any red eyeshadow I'd seriously recommend buying some, I brought this last halloween and have used it quite a few times since, you can of course be very dramatic and go for straight red on your eyes, like I did but its a perfect colour to blend with others sometimes it looks like a really rich berry colour when darkened.
I went for some black do really give it that halloween look I just think it darkens the look and makes it look more mysterious. I blended that into the outer corner of the eye and faded out the colour a little.

For the bottom of my eye I used the red on the bottom and a blending brush to give it that real smokey look.

And of course the lips, the red was created with the eyeshadow too.
Wetting brushes really helps to pigment the product so wetting the brush before using the red made it easier to control where I wanted the blood to look dripped. You can be really playful with this, do a little or a lot!

Again really hope you enjoyed this! Make sure you check out the last post in case you missed it and I'll see you next for my Halloween Outfit Post until next time, take care!

What's your opinion?

  1. That jumper is everything! I love it.
I also really like how you've not covered the whole lip in blood and you can still see your lips, makes it much more 'real' (if that makes sense). Fab look!

  2. Aaah I have that jumper too! It's amazing what kind of outfits people create with it, and it just shows how versatile it is!
I love this really simple makeup and you know what? I'm dying to get my hands on some red eyeshadow! I'm so bummed that I missed out on doing a vampire look this Halloween (hosted my own party yesterday) but who says you can only wear red eye shadow on Halloween?

  3. Oh very great style darling!

  4. This is such a good look! You look so good and it's great to see a halloween look that isn't too expensive as well :) x
