I have a special love for my city ever since moving house, I think its because I get to see more of it having to walk through this part of it everyday.
I think sometimes its worth stopping to appreciate your surroundings and what you have. Sometimes the most beautiful places are just on your doorstep. And you don't need to travel to get good photos or a picturesque landscape sometimes what you have is enough.
My friend took these photos a few weeks ago on an afternoon where the sun was beautifully set behind the cathedral. I walked home after getting off the bus listening to The Paper Kites and taking some photos out the front of my house as the sun set.
I think I sort of had one of those unintentional moments of matching my outfit perfectly to my backdrop.
As a pose to matching it perfectly to a background. .
I feel a bit like I belong in a band in this outfit, its a little rockstar come chic. The burgundy I feel brings a nice pop of colour to an earthy toned outfit.

I've been quite busy this week as I've been decorating my room getting it sorted before I'm back at University.
I've gone for copper and teal. I'm planning on doing a bedroom tour once its done!
